Since 2017, Mason Chocolates has been crafting fine chocolate in Bali through a bean-to-bar approach rooted in sustainability, direct trade, and artisanal care. Backed by the established Mason Adventures group, our mission is to share the richness of Indonesian cacao with the world while honoring the farmers, nurturing the land, and preserving the traditions that shape it.

For over 35 years, the Mason family has been renowned in Bali for delivering unforgettable experiences in the adventure and tourism industry. Backed by the established Mason Adventures group, that same passion for excellence evolved in 2017 with the inception of Mason Chocolates. Today, we craft fine chocolate through a bean-to-bar approach rooted in sustainability, direct trade, and artisanal care. Inspired by nature and driven by a commitment to responsible sourcing, our mission is to share the richness of Indonesian cacao with the world while honoring the farmers, nurturing the land, and preserving the traditions that shape it.

Origins

We are Proudly Indonesian

We craft our chocolate with the finest fermented Indonesian cacao, sourced ethically from trusted smallholder farmers. Grown in rich volcanic soil and shaped by diverse microclimates, Indonesia’s cacao offers a unique tropical terroir with deep, complex regional flavor profiles.

In 2025, we deepened our roots by launching our own cacao plantation in Taro Village, Gianyar, allowing us to oversee the process from tree to bar. This plantation serves as a commitment to the community, supporting local farmers through education, seedling donations, and a sustainable cooperative model.
